About

I study trustworthy persistent AI agents — how a long-running agent keeps its memory clean, watches its own behavior, holds a stable identity under adversarial pressure, and grows alongside the person it belongs to. My research program asks nine questions about how an AI system comes alive and stays alive; each is answered by a running system and a paper. The instrument is Celestelin, a ~130,000-line persistent-agent ecosystem I built and operate as sole developer, continuously deployed since April 2025. Before this I spent four years in base-station hardware R&D at Huawei and eleven years founding and running an arts-education company.
